Ian is the Association Chairman of Maldon Conservatives, currently serving his third term in the role. A long-standing member of the Conservative Party, he has played a key part in strengthening the Association, supporting local campaigns, and ensuring members’ voices are represented. His leadership reflects both experience and a deep commitment to the Maldon community. Alongside his political work, he founded and successfully ran a financial services company, which he sold in 2021. This background has equipped him with strong skills in business management, financial planning, and long-term strategy, which he now brings to his role as Chairman.
Beyond politics and business, Ian has always taken a close interest in community life in Maldon. He works to foster greater engagement between local residents and their elected representatives, supporting initiatives that encourage participation, enterprise, and opportunity. His focus remains on helping the local Conservative Association play an active role in both the political and civic life of the area.
