A Strong local voice for Maldon West Ward - Caring and campaigning for you

As a proud resident, Town Councillor and as someone who runs a business in the heart of our High Street, I care deeply about the people of the beautiful and historic town of Maldon. Many of you will know my restaurant Maldon Spice and having lived in Maldon for almost forty years, I have a long history of working for and representing the needs of local people.

I have always worked to make a difference in our community. This has included me being Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Chair of the Finance Committee. Having been a Town Councillor for a decade so far, a role I thoroughly enjoy, I have also supported many community groups like Maldon in Bloom for six years and as a member of the Maldon Christmas Fayre for over seven years.

Being involved with many local initiatives and charities, I am a keen supporter of the town and its residents and along with being a Maldon District Council Representative on the EALC (Essex Association of Local Councils), I am also a Trustee of the Leech Memorial Garden and the Joseph Urwin Charitable Trust. I am standing in this by-election following the sad passing of my friend Flo Shaughnessy and because I want to continue to make a difference by fighting hard for you and our town, on the district council.

I promise to always put you first and to always fight to ensure that Maldon remains a great place to live now and in the future. I do hope you will support me with your vote in this very important by-election for Maldon taking place on Thursday 29th May.
