Today was the launch of Jhual Hafiz's campaign for the Maldon West Ward by election which is taking place on Thursday 29th May. This is for the District Council role in Maldon District Council. The team spoke to hundreds of constituents across the ward and it was exciting to speak to local people about Jhual, although many people already know and support him through his work as a Maldon Town Councillor and as owner of the popular Maldon Spice restaurant in the High Street.
A big thank you to everyone who supported today's campaign launch, including Dame Rebecca Harris MP, Essex Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Roger Hirst, Deputy Leader of Essex County Council Louise McKinlay and other District, City and Council Councillors, to name but a few.
