This year’s Conservative Party Conference left nothing to chance, no ambiguity or modest acceptance of any achievements in the last fifteen months since being in opposition.
From Dame Priti Patel highlighting the hollow assurances of Farage to Helen Whateley identifying over twenty billion savings in Welfare benefits without affecting those with actual disabilities or serious mental health issues. All of this positive conversation within Fringe presentations created motivation and belief in the future of our Party. However, Kemi’s concluding speech with the announcement of the abolition of Stamp Duty was, for me, something to take back to my residents, to chat on the doorstep and to give hope to adult children still living at home.
A good conference lead by a strong, compassionate Leader, giving hope once more to people from all walks of life wanting to work hard and build a strong economy for their family.
